Save the Date: The Public Interest Law Student Organization (PILSO) and Public Interest Law Center (PILC) online auction is coming soon!

This annual auction raises funds to support Pace Law students working for the summer at unpaid public interest internships.  PILSO is seeking item donations for the online auction. These tax-deductible donations can include gift certificates, sports tickets and memorabilia, spa packages, gym memberships, hotel stays, travel packages, and more! By donating items you are supporting PILSO and Pace Law students. Please reach out to your colleagues, friends and family so that they can support PILSO too! The deadline for submitting donations is Tuesday, February 28, 2017.

Stay tuned, too, for the official auction opening (tentatively March 8) when you can enjoy bidding on your favorite goods and services, as well as "faculty fun" items including meals and excursions with your favorite law professors, all while supporting PILSO and Pace Law students. Thank you for your support!

Please contact the Public Interest Law Center publicinterest@law.pace.edu with questions or to donate.

Help Recruit the Next Generation of Alumni!
The Office of Admissions encourages alumni to engage in recruitment efforts to attract prospective students. Come back to the Law School for an admissions event….renew relationships with your undergraduate institution by speaking to a group of prospective students and/or reaching out to faculty mentors about the Law School….connect paralegals in your firm with members of the admissions team…share your Law School experience with us and prospective students. Any amount of time you are able to dedicate is appreciated - please let us know if you are interested in becoming involved.
Contact Cathy Alexander, Assistant Dean for Admissions at calexander@law.pace.edu or (914) 422-4210.

Career and Professional Development: The Center for Career and Professional Development (CCPD) is always seeking new ways to connect employers with alumni.

If you are interested in hiring a student or alumni, please reach out to the Lauren Vaccianna-Gordon at careers@law.pace.edu, the CCPD’s Recruitment Manager and she will be able to assist you with posting your position. If you are trying to secure your first legal position, or if you are a seasoned attorney looking for a career change (hundreds of lateral jobs a year are posted!), Symplicity, the law school’s online job posting website, is always updated with new positions. To further assist job seekers, Symplicity has released a mobile application (CAREERS by Symplicity) which can be downloaded from Apple’s App Store, or on Google Play. This app allows you to easily search and apply for jobs directly on your mobile device.
